MLG Announces Changes to CoD Champs Ruleset

On a livestream at MLG.TV, Chris Puckett announced that there would be a few changes to the ruleset for the Call of Duty: Ghosts Championship qualifiers taking place on MLG.TV.

First off, the initial announcement that qualifiers would be best-of-three matches has been altered to best-of-five matches. This allows for better accommodation to online matches that more easily match the games that will happen during the finals.

Lastly, he clarified that coaches would be allowed at the Call of Duty: Championship finals, but only during breaks. They aren't allowed during matches. This is mainly done to keep a fair playing environment as not every team is able to afford a coaching position, especially teams from countries outside of the United States.

We'll continue to keep you updated on any new developments.
