  • 49th-6th place: 200

A partnership between MLG and UMG is quite suprising, consider the companies compete quite directly with each other, but perhaps the two have realized that the scene is stronger as a whole when companies work together, not against each other. MLG also signed a deal with Gfinity a couple months back that fell under the same terms. This could be seen as a move to give these other tournaments legal permission from Activision, which has gotten tournament streams shut down in the past, but who knows. It's great news either way.

Regardless, be sure to tune into MLG.TV and check out our UMG Philly event coverage throughout the weekend.
